How to claim

What to do if something happens, step by step.

Make the scene safe and, where anyone is hurt or a third party is involved, report it to the police.
Tell us straight away: call the hotline 1557, use the ATM app, or email info@takaful.mv.
Don't repair the vehicle yet: a surveyor will contact you within one working day to inspect the damage.
Submit your documents: the motor claim form, your certificate, driving licence, vehicle registration and the police report if there is one.
Settlement: once the claim is approved we pay by bank transfer and let you know.
